Dutch Ovens in History
You may not realize what a significant role Dutch Ovens have played in history. The Lewis and Clark expedition used Dutch Ovens, they were used heavily by the early American Mountain Man, touted by Civil War soldiers and camp cooks, and relied on by pioneers and settlers.
